Study Guide
NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, is one of the most important international organizations in the world today. This organization, which is a political and military alliance, brings together 31 countries from Europe and North America. These countries come together to consult and cooperate on security and defense issues. In this context, NATO creates a unique bond between these two continents on political and security-related issues.

At BALMUN 24 Historical NATO committee, delegates will go back to 1998 and take action according to the policy and perspective of the country assigned to them regarding the Kosovo War, the famous stalemate of that period. The delegates will need to solve critical problems such as the ideological debates, which caused many side problems at that time, war crimes and humanitarian crisis, as soon as possible, and ensure security as they promised. In this process, factors such as the way or speed of solving the problems will be good for them. They will also have repercussions like worse crises.
